Earth is one big cauldron.
Земля — это один большой котёл
If you are eating a chocolate cake, can you describe its taste? If you dislike zucchini, can you explain why? Which food colors appeal to you most? We think we know everything about food, yet it is actually full of mysteries. Preparing and consuming food is by no means a dull, mundane process, the lecturer believes; it is a way of exploring a world defined by constant exchange. Simply by sitting next to someone, we unconsciously transfer some of our body’s water—evaporating into the air they breathe—to them, while they pass their water on to us. The Earth is a cauldron, and we humans share it with animals, fish, plants, and water—as well as the words that designate them all. Within this ceaseless movement lies the great mystery of life and death.
