Corpus vile
“The first section consists of conversations about my body and my relationship with it. The further I travel, the more I distance myself from my own body. There are various interactions with some other body—an undefined one. Then, a specific body appears: my partner’s. Beyond that, there is a multitude of other bodies. It is an experiment, a journey in which I attempt to make sense of corporeality, sexuality, and language as well.”
This is Artur Kamarouski’s second poetry collection. In it, the author explores themes such as corporeality, gender, sexuality, language, and the homeland, seeking to understand how they are interconnected and what arises from those connections.
