Shattered by war and personal circumstances, a reality that is, in a sense, canceled is pieced together by Alexander Ilichevsky from fragments of texts across various genres. Literature, as a tool for understanding reality, is tested for its resilience and its ability to reflect the world's tragic state.

The author is less interested in the genre state of the book and more in the free composition of stories that can be more credible than life itself. New ways of expressing meaning, which blur the classical spectrum of genres, are what Ilichevsky creates through an asteroid belt of notes, sketches, and stories.
