The poetry collection "Between Sea and Land" includes selections of poems by three renowned Baltic children's poets: Lithuanian Martynas Vainilaitis, Latvian Jānis Baltvilks, and Estonian Leelo Tungal. The poems of these three remarkable poets were translated by Mikhail Yasnov. This book by Baltic children's poets, united by a shared geography and, in many ways, a common historical fate, will allow our children to take a friendly and neighborly look at their peers, who live in a largely similar world, with their own childhood values, just like ours. And they will come to know and love the "Baltic country," which stretches "between sea and land."
