The lives of three generations of a Crimean Tatar family, chronicled in the novel "Ak Bure," are inextricably linked to crucial events in the history of Russia and Crimea in particular. These include the Great Patriotic War, the deportation of the Crimean Tatars, and their struggle to return to their homeland. And finally, the "Russian Spring" of 2014.

The author has managed to seamlessly combine seemingly incompatible elements: a thrilling adventure novel and a documentary narrative that faithfully and truthfully recounts the events of the recent past. One of the novel's key characters, Eskender, the youngest member of the Ismailov family, comes to Kazan on family business. From this moment on, a series of incredible events begins. The author follows the traditions of Gogol, Bulgakov, and Saltykov-Shchedrin, for whom even the most ugly aspects of reality are depicted with humor.
