Mikhalych is an ordinary pensioner who moved to the countryside looking for a quiet retirement to raise chickens and tend his garden. Instead of a peaceful routine, however, he finds himself fighting evil spirits, learning to get along with Denis the domovoy (house elf), and drinking tea whenever he catches a free moment.
