Control Prints
Контрольные отпечатки
The book "Control Prints" by poet and critic Mikhail Aizenberg includes short writings that seem to seek their place between the genres of essay, memoir, and sketch. In this "between genres" space, the author places his memories of the times later called the "Era of Stagnation" and of certain people, more or less known figures of unofficial culture.
"The seventies tried particularly hard not to be noticed," writes Aizenberg, as he carefully reconstructs personal impressions, snippets of conversations, and details of the cultural backdrop of that era, which he believes went unnoticed.
