This is a book about letters. Mostly Cyrillic, but along the way the topic of the Greco-Roman roots of our alphabet is also touched upon. The author carefully analyzes each letter of the Russian alphabet, discusses why our writing symbols are not as beautiful as their Latin relatives, and what a designer (not necessarily a professional font designer) can do about it.

In addition to the history, types, types, individual properties and anatomy of letters, the author pays a lot of attention to logos, as well as various elements of typography and visual communication, so the book is of interest to a wide range of designers and designers.
