This edition faithfully reproduces the text of the catalog selection "Poems Op. 1–47," compiled by Viktor Ivaniv in 1996. It is supplemented with works that accompany the opuses in other collections from 1995–1996. Additionally, it includes four numbered opuses that likely were part of a later expanded version of the catalog, the complete list of which has not yet been discovered.

The edition features 83 works (poems, prose poems, and a "story") by Viktor Ivaniv, 71 of which are being published for the first time. Drafts of the poet's letters to Sergey Biryukov, Alexander Ochereyansky, and Sergey Tikhanov from 1995–1997, along with articles by Anton Metelkov, Sergey Biryukov, and Mikhail Bogatyrev, specially written for this release, outline the biographical and creative circumstances of the poet during this period.

The edition includes a summary of the revisions and variations of the opuses, documents, and commentary.
