This edition includes all of Boris Poplavsky’s poems from the early 1920s that have been discovered in archives; approximately half of them are published here for the first time. The texts are supplemented by five appendices, including the complete version of the poet’s Paris diary from 1921–1922, a series of French secret police dossiers on members of the Poplavsky family (1922–1947), and excerpts from M. Tugan-Baranovsky’s autobiographical novel *Beyond the Line* (1928), in which the poet appears as one of the characters. The edition features detailed commentary and includes 20 illustrations.
