For many years, the Greek island of Corfu has been closely associated with the name of writer and naturalist Gerald Durrell. He made the island famous through his books, which inspired several popular adaptations. Lawrence Durrell, Gerald's older brother, also wrote about Corfu on multiple occasions.

Readers of these books and tourists visiting the island have always been curious to discover the exact locations where the events of the Durrell narratives unfolded and to see for themselves the villas, villages, lakes, and mountains mentioned therein. This guidebook will satisfy that curiosity: it describes several dozen places the Durrells visited, providing exact addresses and coordinates.

Separate chapters are dedicated to the characters from the Durrell trilogy about Corfu and the island's diverse fauna. The book comes with a map of the island, highlighting all the Durrell-related attractions.
