Том 6: Переписка с В. Шаламовым. Письма к жене и дочери. Статьи и рецензии
Georgy Georgievich Demidov (1908—1987) was a physicist, a student of Landau, a prisoner of the Kolyma camps, and a prominent Russian writer, known for his stories and novellas about the lives of GULAG inmates.
As part of the publishing program by the Museum of GULAG History and the Memory Foundation, in collaboration with Ivan Limbakh Publishing House, and with the participation of the V. I. Dahl Museum of Russian Literature and the "Vozvrashchenie" publishing house, a six-volume collection of Georgy Demidov's works is being released.
The sixth volume features letters from Georgy Demidov to his wife and daughter, his correspondence with Varlam Shalamov, several stories and a play by Shalamov dedicated to Demidov, memoirs by Valentina Georgievna, the writer's daughter, and various articles and reviews about his work and literary legacy.
For the first time, the most comprehensive bibliography of Georgy Georgievich's publications since the 1990s has been compiled. This volume also includes unique documents and photographs from the writer's family archive, previously unpublished.
