The novel by German Dadaist artist and writer Raoul Hausmann (1886–1971), a vivid example of avant-garde literature, was written between 1949 and 1958 and published in 1969 in Frankfurt.

The text, largely based on autobiographical events, is dedicated to the years the author spent on the Spanish island of Ibiza, where he found himself with two beloved women after fleeing Nazi Germany.

The book is illustrated with unique photographs by the author. It is being published in Russian for the first time.
