This publication presents the first Russian translations of texts written by members of the Western European movement "CoBrA" (Copenhagen-Brussels-Amsterdam), which both followed Dada and Surrealism and critically reinterpreted the achievements of its avant-garde predecessors. The book includes selected materials published in the group's journals from 1948 to 1951. Contributors include Pierre Alechinsky, Christian Dotremont, Asger Jorn, Constant Nieuwenhuis, and many others.
