The dilogy by the famous writer L. V. Solovyov (1906-1962) tells about the adventures of Khoja Nasreddin, a cheerful and noble trickster who stands up for the poor, who is beloved in the countries of the East. Even when he finds himself in a seemingly hopeless situation, he invariably finds a solution and saves himself and his friends.

While working on the text, the author managed to recreate the style of Eastern literature with its characteristic imagery and expressiveness.
