The monograph is devoted to the study of the history of the genesis and development in the second century of the twentieth — early twenty-first century of the artistic system of the late, post-war avant-garde — neo-avant-garde. This system is applied in its successive connection with the historical avant-garde of the 1900s — 1930s, in complex relationships of repulsion and attraction both with typologically related artistic phenomena of world art (primarily verbal — with the phenomena of the Western neo-avant-garde), and with synchronous phenomena of domestic art, mainly uncensored. Particular attention is paid to the projective aspects of the work of neo-avant-gardists, their desire for the interaction of poetry not only with the corresponding schemes of art (painting, music, performance), but also with science, to the use of modern technical inventions (for example, the possibilities of cybernetics). The book is addressed to researchers of literature and culture, a general readership.
