The poet Alexei Kruchenykh (1886–1968) is commonly associated with Russian Futurism and the "zaumnik" school of literature, but his later, "underground" work, rich in equally interesting themes, language, and innovations, has been largely forgotten. The first book in the mini-series, "Unpublished Kruchenykh," presents a selection of his major "post-zaumnik" works, most of which are unfamiliar to readers. All texts are published based on archival materials and are accompanied by detailed commentary and illustrations.
