Chronicle of the denial of emptiness
Хроніка адмаўлення пустаты
Ilya Kulbitsky's debut book includes poems and essays written in 2017–2024. Texts of various genres — from chronicles of social events and sketches from nature to satire, myth-making, and urban fantasy — are united by one goal: to find a way through the surrounding and internal emptiness to the true world. This is the path of language, faith, attempts to see and accomplish the unprecedented, and attentive listening to the voices of other travelers on this path.
Ilya Kulbitsky was born in Minsk in 1982. He graduated from the Belarusian State University, majoring in programming. Winner and prizewinner of the "Festival of One Poem". His works were published in the newspaper "Literary Belarus" and the online magazine "Taubin". He now lives in Warsaw.
