Marina Hobbel is a writer, translator and editor. Born in Minsk, moved to Norway in 2003. Graduated from the Belarusian State University, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Master of Cultural History from the University of Oslo. She writes in Russian, Belarusian and Norwegian. Translator of poetry and prose from Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian into Norwegian and from Norwegian into Belarusian and Russian. Author of two books of prose: "Velnkny matermalmzator" (2002) and "Babochka, bedny lmstochek" (2012). Stories, short stories, poems, articles and translations have been published in electronic and paper editions in Belarus, Norway, Sweden, the USA, Russia, Kazakhstan. The book includes poems written from 2021 to 2024.
