From the beginning of time, Vilnius was the main city for the ancestors of modern Belarusians, the center of all life in the region, the cradle of the modern Belarusian nation. Folk songs and proverbs were composed about Vilnius, and poets of the Middle Ages, the Enlightenment, and the Modern Era wrote about it. This anthology presents works about Vilnius written in the 20th century.
