The book is devoted to the history and evolution of graphic design — from the emergence of commercial art as a result of the industrial and business revolution of the 19th century to the present day. The publication examines in detail both major graphic styles that left a noticeable mark on the history of design, including the features of their distribution, individual development and practice of application in different countries, as well as unique phenomena in graphics that existed in isolation (for example, the Polish poster).
