"Stories for a Dissected Guitar" is a collection of texts by Marc Ribot, featuring musical essays, absurdist stories in the vein of Sergei Kharms, counter-scripts, and biting satire. Ribot shares stories about his friends, his first guitar teacher, his touring routine, and, of course, guitars.

Marc Ribot is an itinerant guitarist and one of New York's most recognizable session musicians. He is known for his work with Tom Waits, his collaborations with John Zorn, and even an album by the band AuktsЫon.
