Vanya is a young man with a few quirks. He works at a hunting and fishing supply store, lives in his grandmother’s old-fashioned apartment, and addresses all women as "Frau." Everything changes when he meets Kristina, a ballerina at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, and begins to court her in his own unique way.

This book contains the screenplay for the film *Frau* by Lyubov Mulmenko, as well as the short story of the same name upon which it is based. The screenplay includes scenes that did not make it into the final cut of the film. The volume is illustrated with drawings by Natalya Makarikhina and stills from the movie.
