I once made a discovery for myself - the same, I am sure, as many others: you need to go to a match in the right mood, then your chances of winning increase.

Well, you can create the right mood for yourself.

This is how I start each of my days. Depending on what needs to be done, I start the right music or read the right poem. This is a tuning fork that sets the right tone for the new day.

If I were a composer, I would make a calendar of 366 morning melodies, if I were a poet - I would compose 366 morning poems. Because every day is unique.

And since I am a historical fiction writer, "My Calendar" is 372 little stories. Or rather, three hundred and seventy-two reminders that something very good or very important once happened on this very day. (372, not 366, because I don't want to offend any month, and in each of them I have 31 days, honestly. On February 30 or, say, June 31, I talk about events and people that never actually happened, but I do. And they will help you no worse than what actually existed).
