Dog Days
Собаки
Yuna never dreamed of owning a dog, but fate brought two beloved furry companions into her life—a Welsh Corgi named Zucchini and a mongrel named Sweet Potato. She moves to the suburbs of Seoul and encounters a horrifying reality: numerous dogs roam the area, abandoned by city residents. The dogs and their owners are no luckier: they are locked in cramped cages, given little food, and beaten. All these unfortunate creatures face the same fate: they will be captured and killed for their meat, which is considered healthy in Korea.
In "Dog Days," Keum Suk Gendry-Kim exposes the cruelty of her seemingly civilized compatriots, speaks out against animal abuse, and shows the magic that happens when a dog is raised in a loving and caring family.
