Collection of Fairy Tales and Creative Tasks for Children in Two Languages, 6+

This book is primarily intended for refugee children forced to adapt to new conditions due to the war, often including a new language and country. It consists of several stories and creative tasks designed in accordance with art therapy and fairy tale therapy methods.

This book is also beneficial for learning different languages because it is bilingual: on each spread, the text is presented first in Ukrainian and then duplicated in English, French, German, or Russian. The book has been reviewed by a clinical psychologist and a neuropsychologist.

Here is what the author's annotation says: "Our audience is children aged 6 to 10–11 years, both those living in Ukraine and refugees. Everything happening now is an extremely difficult, traumatic situation for a child. The book, like any art therapy, is intended to aid in the psychological recovery of children. We understand, of course, that the book does not replace work with a psychotherapist or psychologist, but it can certainly complement such work or be used independently. Essentially, 'Going Towards the Light' is a training book through which a child can, through creativity, overcome (at least partially) the burden that the war has imposed on them."
